By Tanya Hanes

Garden landscaping is one of the best activities in the world because this activity can be enjoyed all your life. When you plant seeds, you can take pleasure in seeing the first green shoots during spring. If instead you planted flowers, seeing them blossom during summer is an ideal moment. This activity requires you to be very creative and patient but don't worry, it will all be worthwhile when you see your plant and flowers bloom.

Don't worry about your first garden because it can be a success if you put time into it and if you treat it carefully and devotedly. During your first time, it is best to choose flowers or vegetables that are grown easily in the area where you are living. Starting with a small garden so that you can look at it vigilantly and take care of it correctly is the best option that you should choose.

Garden landscaping is a good hobby because unlike other hobbies, gardening can be done the whole year. You can even start gardening in the winter by planning and deciding about the garden that you like. After planning, you can work on it through spring and summer then harvest the crops or the flowers during autumn. It really is dependent on the garden that you desire and where you want to have the garden. Just be certain to have the garden that you like best.

When planning a garden, you should know the kind of garden that you want. Some prefers flower gardens which can be planted on a bed or a border of flowers. The bed can have different forms based on your preferences, but rectangular shapes are more suitable for beginners. In the bed, you can plant flowers like asters, snapdragons, marigolds and zinnias that can be cut once fully grown.

You might also have an informal garden made up of lots of flowers of various heights and different colors. Gardens of this type are known as English gardens. Hollyhocks, foxgloves, marigolds, stock, candytufts, and pansies are some the flowers usually grown in these gardens. It is really up to you on the type of garden you prefer. The vital thing is to always remember to have fun.
